New York State Department of Health volunteers will provide free flu vaccinations to hundreds of individuals during a training exercise at the University at Buffalo South Campus on November 8. This exercise, part of the “ProtEX NY” initiative, is designed to enhance the ability to protect New Yorkers in the event of a widespread disease outbreak. The exercise will provide experience in vaccinating a large number of people in a very short time. By participating in this exercise, you’ll be contributing to a vital health-preparedness effort.
