Notre Dame Cathedral: Before and after the 2019 Fire - April 26

Please join us for a lecture on the history and future of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France, presented by storyteller Bob Poczik, on Tuesday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m. in Bacon Hall 115. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Mr. Poczik will discuss the long and complicated history of Notre Dame. The Buffalo-Lille Association, which is sponsoring the program, described the talk this way:

“It is a story of veneration, desecration, decline, and renewal. It is a story in which popes and kings, revolutionaries, a novelist, an emperor, and a dictator all play key roles. It is a story of the hopes and dreams that this building represents to the people of France and the world.”

For more information, please contact Susan McCartney, director of the Small Business Development Center.
