Susan Baldwin, assistant professor, Health and Wellness, was appointed to the Regional Prevention Initiative board, which serves the eight counties of Western New York. Programs focus on obesity, diabetes, heart disease, physical activity (Fit-n-Fun), and osteoporosis. This group, along with Baldwin and two Ithaca College health educators, has been collaborating to pursue a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation community health grant focusing on health-promoting policy research and implementation across the Western and Central New York regions.
