Work by Carol Ann Rafferty, lecturer, Design, appeared in the Fiberart International 2007exhibition, on view at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts April 14–August 19. Her work,My Life Unraveling at 35 (detail, left), was one of 93 pieces selected from among 1,500 works by 609 artists from 27 countries to reflect the diverse nature of contemporary fiber art. Fiberart International 2007travels to the Mint Museum of Craft and Design in Charlotte, North Carolina, September 15, 2007–February 24, 2008, and to the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences of West Virginia in Charleston, West Virginia, April 7–June 23, 2008.
