Satasha Green , Assistant Professor, Exceptional Education

Satasha Green, assistant professor, Exceptional Education, has been selected to receive a 2007 Students' Award for the Promotion of Respect for Diversity and Individual Differences, established by the President’s Council on Equity and Campus Diversity. Green was offered an advance contract from SUNY Press for her book Motivating African American Learners in Reading.She also presented her research, "The Effects of Culturally Based Computer Software on the Motivation and Academic Engagement of African American English Speakers," at the Council for Exceptional Children's 2007 Annual Convention and Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky, April 18–21.
