Information Technology will “turn on” a new OneDrive sync feature called "Known Folder Move" for Macs running MacOS Monterey or higher on Monday, April 10. With this new feature, if you are signed in to the OneDrive client app on your campus Mac, your Documents and Desktop folders will be synced to OneDrive and automatically backed up to the cloud. Other folders on your Mac, such as Pictures and Downloads, will not automatically sync to OneDrive. You must manually move the content from these folders into your OneDrive if desired. Note: if you use a Windows device, the Known Folder Move feature is already enabled and is syncing your Documents, Desktop, and Pictures folders.
