The Buffalo State community is saddened by the death of Mary Ann Hurliman, secretary 1 in the Registrar’s Office (retired), who died March 12, 2023. Ms. Hurliman joined the campus in 1987 and retired in 2010. She was predeceased by two children and is survived by three children and six grandchildren. The family will be present today, March 15, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, March 16, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Pietszak Funeral Home, 2400 William Street, Cheektowaga (near Harlem Road). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m. in Fourteen Holy Helpers Roman Catholic Church, 1345 Indian Church Road, West Seneca.
