John Thompson, associate professor, Computer Information Systems, gave two presentations, “Improving Online Discussions” and “Discussions in Online Courses,” at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) 2010 conference in Denver, June 27–30. He also participated in a panel presentation, “Writing for ISTE Publications.” Thompson is the editor of the ISTE publication Journal for Computing Teachers. The ISTE conference is the largest educational technology annual conference in the United States.
