United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Week: March 6-10

The Maurene Callahan Bouras Center for Global Engagement (CGE) will host multiple events around campus March 6–10 to show how we can all do our part in creating a better world for the future during the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Week.

In 2015, the United Nations created 17 Sustainable Development Goals, from Zero Hunger to Gender Equality, which aim to make the world a better place by 2030. SUNY institutions and the University Global Coalition are partnering on SDG Awareness Week, which focuses on how to bring action to these goals. Buffalo State University is proud to host this weeklong event on campus.

Sessions include workshops on the SUNY Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and faculty-led study-abroad programs, a series of posters and presentations from students who have studied their disciplines in relation to SDGs internationally, and ways to learn more about the world through different learning experiences.

Please join us.
