National Coming Out Day: October 19

National Coming Out Day is observed every year during the month of October to celebrate coming out and to raise awareness of the LGBTQ+ community. Please join the Pride Alliance (advised by Student Leadership and Engagement and the Counseling Center) for tabling in the Campbell Student Union along with the Ally Photo Project sponsored by Health Promotions on Wednesday, October 19, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. There will also be a Coming Out Panel with students, faculty, and staff from across campus taking place between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. in the Campbell Student Union Assembly Hall. Please email Char Vetter, clinical manager of the Counseling Center; Dwayne Melvin, programming coordinator in Student Leadership and Engagement; or Thomas Trzepkowski, assistant director of student leadership and engagement, with questions.
