PDS Event: Promoting Middle School Reading and Building Libraries - May 2

Please join us for a conversation about promoting middle school reading and building libraries, featuring books by Jason Reynolds, author of novels and poetry for young adult and middle-grade audiences, on Monday, May 2, at 4:00 p.m. in the Butler Library Curriculum Lab. The event, which is sponsored by the School of Education's Professional Development Schools Consortium (PDS), is free and open to the campus community.

During the talk, we will explore diversity and representation in texts and the importance of building libraries where all students feel welcome.

Please register on the event website. This marks the first in a series of events leading up to Reynolds’s visit to campus on May 1, 2023, as part of the Paul G. Bulger Lecture Series.
