Data Science and Analytics Seminar Series: 'Performance through Eventually Consistent Models' - March 24

Please join us for the next talk in the spring 2022 Data Science Analytics (DSA) Seminar Series, “Performance through Eventually Consistent Models,” presented by Jonathan Ebel, co-founder and chief technology officer of Verivend, on Thursday, March 24, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Science and Mathematics Complex 151 and via Zoom.

The Data Science and Analytics graduate program invites industry experts to give presentations on cutting-edge topics in analytics as part of its DSA Seminar Series. Mr. Ebel's talking points will include the following:

  • Don't let your data models become convoluted.
  • Isolation of models can yield better long-term performance, maintainability, scalability, and extend-ability.
  • Tools can help you stream your model events such that any data model can be recreated.

For more information or to obtain the link to attend virtually, please email Heather Campbell, professional science master’s coordinator.
