Thank you for your support at the 2009 SEFA/United Way Campaign Kick-Off. Approximately 50 solicitors including faculty, staff, and students spent their lunch-hour at the Kick-Off held at E.H. Butler Library on Thursday, October 1, 2009. It was a pleasure welcoming Buffalo State students, faculty, staff, and guests in officially kicking off the Campaign. Interim President Dennis Ponton and Tim Doolittle 2009 United Way Campaign Chair brought greetings from the United Way.
Campus support for this initiative was also evident at the Kick-Off scheduled during our 3rd shift, where 30 members of the Buffalo State family attended in the Classroom Building on Wednesday September 30 at 6:00 a.m. We were are especially pleased that Matthew Levin-Stankevich, Director of Strategic Development of the United Way, was available to address the 3rd shift staff.
Our goal this year is to continue the Buffalo State College tradition of giving with 100% participation of all departments. I look forward to surpassing our goal and seeing all of you at our closing ceremony.
