The following has been received in the College Senate Office and forwarded to the College Senate Curriculum Committee for spring 2022 review:
New Course:
PSY 423 Psychology and Physiology of Eating. Prerequisites: PSY 101 and an additional 6 credit hours in psychology. Sensory, hormonal, and neural control of eating; role of reinforcement as a contributing factor to energy intake; individual physical disparities that cause variations in food intake; food preference; obesity; overlap between food intake and drugs of abuse. Offered occasionally, beginning spring 2023.
