Rose Hyman, Office Assistant 1 in the Weigel Health Center and U.S. Army veteran, was honored by Congressman Brian Higgins during a ceremony at the Buffalo and Erie Country Naval and Military Park on Monday, November 7. Army Specialist Hyman served from 1984 to 1989 before being honorably discharged. She completed Military Veteran Peer Network Basic Training and went on to work at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Buffalo and Philadelphia, as well as the VA Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
