Zhang Jie, SUNY Distinguished Professor of sociology and director of Buffalo State's Center for China Studies, published the article "Gender Differences between Suicides and Attempted Suicides in Chinese Rural Young Populations: Findings from Psychological Autopsy Studies" in the Asian Journal of Psychiatry 71:103064. The article’s coauthors were David Lester and Long Sun. Long Sun was a visiting scholar to the Center for China Studies in the 2014–2015 academic year.
