Theresa A. Harris-Tigg, assistant professor, English, received the distinguished Educational Leadership Award from the Career Women Organization, an affiliate of the National Association of Female Executives, on December 11 at the Classic V Banquet Center in Amherst, New York. Harris-Tigg, also known as Ama Serwa Akoto , was honored for her educational leadership at Buffalo State College and in the Buffalo community.
