Artwork created by Gerald Mead, lecturer, Design, was acquired by the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a co-recipient of a 2010 Bronze Excalibur Award from the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for “Handmade in Buffalo,”  a publication he authored for the Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau. A solo exhibition of his work was presented at Exhibit A gallery in Corning, New York (July 16–August 27), and he was included in a four-artist exhibition at the Kirkland Art Center in Clinton, New York (June 27–August 25).
