Sister Charlene Fontana, SSJ, assistant to the director of student life, and Sister Marianne Ferguson, OSF, professor of philosophy and humanities, were honored by E. O. Smith, distinguished service professor, History and Social Studies, and the Buffalo State College Monroe Fordham Regional History Center at the 2010 Cure of Ars Awards Dinner on October 19 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. The event paid tribute to women religious of the Diocese of Buffalo, which includes 22 religious orders of women. Sister Charlene Fontana belongs to the Sisters of St. Joseph; Sister Marianne Ferguson belongs to the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Community.
