Battle, senior adviser to the president for equity and campus diversity, conducted a symposium on multicultural issues in global health and disability, and presented a paper on the education of speech-language pathologists in Africa at the 28th World Congress of the International Association of Logopedics and Phoniatrics in Athens, Greece, August 22–26.
