Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, and William F. Wieczorek, director of Buffalo State’s Center for Health and Social Research, published their article “Psychological Strains and Youth Suicide in Rural China” in the journal Social Science and Medicine: 72 (12): 2003–2010. The study was coauthored by Yeates Conwell and Ming Tu Xin.
