Zhang Jie, professor of sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published his article “Characteristics of Young Suicides by Violent Methods in Rural China” in the Journal of Forensic Sciences 56 (3): 674–678. The study’s coauthor, Cun-Xian Jia, was a visiting scholar to Buffalo State in 2010.
