Rafika Merini, associate professor of French in the Modern and Classical Languages Department, read a multilingual research paper titled "A Linguistic Plethora in the Pained Universe of Love" at the 43rd annual convention of the Northeast Modern Language Association, held in Rochester, New York, March 15–18.
