Watercolor 102 Workshop at the Burchfield Penney

The Watercolor 102 workshop with Rita Argen Auerbach will be held on Saturday, February 23, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the Burchfield Penney Art Center's studio classroom as part of the International Center for Watercolor.

Watercolor painting is created with diverse techniques: wet in wet, dry brush, blending, and mixing. This exciting, illusive, and challenging medium will be explored. Participants will create a watercolor painting inspired by Charles E. Burchfield’s landscapes. This is a watercolor workshop for beginners; supplies are included.

Rita Argen Auerbach, a Buffalo State distinguished alumna, is an internationally recognized, award-winning artist whose watercolors are represented in numerous museums and corporate and private collections in this country and abroad.

Cost: $45 for "not yet" members; $35 for Burchfield Penney members. Join online or call ext. 3547 for membership information.

To register for this class, contact Kathy Gaye Shiroki, ext. 3549.
