Are You Sending Your Child to Summer Day Camp?

If you are a state employee who is not currently enrolled in the Dependent Care Advantage Account (DCAAccount) and are M/C or represented by CSEA, PEF, UUP, DC37, or GSEU, you are eligible for an employer contribution when you enroll in the DCAAccount for summer day camp. Enrolling in the DCAAccount provides savings since eligible employees may set aside pre-tax funds in order to pay for day camp, and the state contributes as well. The employer contribution to the DCAAccount ranges from $200 to $700, depending on the employee’s annual income. Eligible employees may enroll just for the employer contribution if they choose not to have funds deducted from their biweekly paycheck.
