Dr. Laurence Hauptman, SUNY Distinguished Professor of history and coordinator of the American Indian Studies program at SUNY New Paltz, will present "The Buffalo Creek Treaty of 1838: How It Affected the Iroquois in New York, Wisconsin, the Indian Territory, and Canada Well Into the Future (1838–1906)" on Monday, April 24, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Bacon Hall 116A.
