Renowned computer scientist Gabor Herman will give a presentation titled "Using Computational Methods to Visualize the Unseen" from 11:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 7, in Bulger Communication Center North. A follow-up discussion is scheduled from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Bulger Communication Center East. Herman is a pioneer in the field of computed tomography (an important medical diagnostic procedure), and he is recognized internationally for his contributions to image processing. He has published more than a dozen books and over 100 articles, which are widely cited.
