Don't miss the MentorNet breakfast meeting scheduled for March 2 in the Campus House Board Room from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The topic for the MentorNet discussion is "How Mentoring Undergraduates Is Different than Mentoring Graduate Students." If you are interested in learning more about effective mentoring strategies and meeting other colleagues that share your interest in mentoring activities, then join MentorNet. Are you and an undergraduate planning to submit an application to the Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Program? Increase your likelihood for success by attending the Mentoring Workshop. The workshop will present mentoring tips, offer models for effective mentoring, and provide opportunities for you to discuss your mentoring experiences with other faculty mentors. The workshop will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Twin Rise 201. Light refreshments will be provided. The workshop is designed for you to attend just part of the session, or plan to stay the entire time.
