Did you notice the white beam on the west side of the new museum for the Burchfield-Penney with the Buffalo State College flag blowing in the wind? The beam, a 40-foot-long steel girder, was painted white so friends of the project could sign the beam before it was ceremonially lifted into place last week. And among the signatories were members of the Buffalo State College community.
