Pride Alliance Hosts National Day of Silence

The Buffalo State College Pride Alliance will be participating today in the National Day of Silence, Wednesday April 18. This is a national movement in which high school and college students across the country commit to a day of silence to protest the bullying, harassment, and name-calling faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth every day. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. Participants will be wearing stickers and passing out speaking cards that explain why they have chosen to not speak for the day.
