The Buffalo State College community is saddened by the death of Rudolph J. Cherkauer, professor emeritus of mathematics, who died April 24, 2021. Dr. Cherkauer joined the college in 1948 and retired in 1989. He is survived by his wife, Anita; four children; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 6, at noon at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Tonawanda, New York. More information is available online.
