Dr. Slawomir Jozefowicz, Kosciuszko Foundation Scholar at the University of Buffalo, will give a lecture, "Tradition and Change versus Modernization - Polish Identity in a Time of Change," on Sunday, October 26, at 2:00 p.m. in E. H. Butler Library 210. Professor Jozefowicz teaches history and political science at the University of Warsaw and in the new Collegio Civitatis, also in Warsaw. He specializes in the philosophy of liberalism and gives meaning to post-modernism in philosophy and the phenomenon of "political correctness." His talk will be of special interest to those who are interested in Poland's transition to democracy and a market economy.
