Zhang Jie, SUNY Distinguished Professor of Sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, published the article "Gender Characteristics in Methods of Chinese Rural Young Suicides" in the International Journal of Mental Health and Addiction 19 (2): 438–446. The paper's coauthors were Xiaomei Xu, Qin Zhou, and Long Sun. Dr. Long Sun was a visiting scholar to Buffalo State College in the 2014–2015 academic year.
