NYS-Ride is a benefit that allows New York State employees to save money on eligible public transportation expenses by paying for the costs on a pre-tax basis, through biweekly payroll deduction. Beginning July 2, 2008, you may take advantage of this pre-tax benefit by paying for your public transportation expenses, such as fares for buses, trains, and subways by enrolling in NYS-Ride.
