Presentation: The Heat Is On-Climate Change and Emerging Policies

“The Heat Is On–Climate Change and Emerging Policies” is the title of a presentation to be held on Thursday, April 30, at the Burchfield Penney Art Center by attorney Mary G. Wilson, national president of the League of Women Voters. The College and Community Partnerships Office and the League of Women Voters of Buffalo/Niagara are cosponsoring this event. The program begins with a reception and tours of the Burchfield collection from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. followed by the speaker and a panel from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. in the auditorium. The panelists are Kristin Campbell, Political Science Department; David Kowalski, climate change activist; Kate Foster, University at Buffalo Regional Institute; and moderator Bob Shibley, UB School of Architecture. Tickets can be obtained by mailing a check for $20 to the League of Women Voters of Buffalo/Niagara, 1272 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209-2401, by Wednesday, April 15.
