The Native American Students Organization (NASO) kicks off the 20th Annual Heritage Celebration month April 6th under the theme "Native Cultural Arts". The month's events include:
a presentation by Dr. Clifton Poodry, Director of Minority Research Opportunities at NIH on Creativity, a presentation on Iroquois Linguistics, a storytelling session, beading workshops, a free concert featuring blues by Corn Bred, a student film debut (Friendly Fire), poet/playright Eric Gansworth, and a basketweaving workshop.
