Zhang Jie, SUNY Distinguished Professor of Sociology and director of the Center for China Studies, and Dwight Hennessy, chair and professor of psychology, published their paper "Physical Illnesses and Medically Serious Suicide Attempts in Rural China" in the journal Crisis 41 (1): 15–23. The paper's coauthors are Shenghua Jin, Yanzheng Liu, Long Sun, Yuli Zang, and Min Si. Dr. Long Sun was a visiting scholar to Buffalo State during the 2014–2015 academic year.
