The Anne Frank Project continues to accept proposals from faculty, staff, students, and community members for the Anne Frank Project 2013: Transforming Lives, to be held on the Buffalo State campus September 10–13. The proposal deadline is Wednesday, May 1.

AFP encourages individuals and organizations to submit proposals that support the action of transforming lives. Has your life been transformed? Have you transformed the lives of others? You can share these experiences and inspire others to do the same at AFP 2013. Our conference prides itself on providing action-oriented sessions that enhance participants' experiences. The Anne Frank Project's conference has become an annual ritual of diversity, tolerance, conflict resolution, and genocide education on our campus.

Over the past four years, the conference has welcomed more than 10,000 attendees and 250 presenters from every walk of life to our campus. As in past years, we will focus on Anne Frank's desire to "improve the world" while shining a light on the multiple treasures of scholarship, creativity, and people at Buffalo State.

New for 2013: AFP Youth Conference, Tuesday, September 10. The first day of this year’s conference will be dedicated to local middle and high school students. These students will present and attend multiple generation-appropriate explorations on the conference theme, “Transforming Lives.”
