'Remote Learning Is HIP (High-Impact Practice)' - August 4

As we prepare for fall 2020, please join us for the webinar "Remote Learning Is HIP (High-Impact Practice)," presented by John Draeger, director of the Teaching and Learning Center, on Tuesday, August 4, from 3:00 to 3:50 p.m.

High-impact practices (HIPs) have been shown to significantly improve student retention and academic achievement. HIPs involve activities requiring a significant investment of student effort over time with multiple interactions between faculty and students about substantive matters as well as opportunities for frequent feedback and structured reflection. This webinar will take a fresh look at how to bring inquiry-based activities into an online environment and how to up the HIP quotient of the course.

You can access the webinar using the Teaching and Learning Center meeting room. Please review the BbCollaborate website to become familiar with using Blackboard Collaborate Ultra as a participant, if you'd like.

Please register through the Workshop Registration System.
