Cynthia Conides, associate professor of history and social studies education and executive director for the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society, announces the Grant Amherst Business Association has been selected as the 2010 Daniel B. Niederlander Award recipient. The award, presented annually since 1975, recognizes the business association’s achievements in preserving the region’s unique history and revitalizing the Black Rock neighborhood. The award will be presented at the Historical Society’s annual Red Jacket Awards Gala, November 18, 2010.
