Relationship violence is the most common form of violence in women’s lives. It is estimated that 21 percent of college students report violence in a current relationship and 32 percent experienced violence in a previous relationship. These workshops will provide information giving counselors, health care workers, police officers, residence life staff, judicial board members, and others a better understanding of relationship violence, how it affects our students, and effective ways to help students in abusive relationships to evaluate their risk and develop strategies to protect themselves from the violence.
