Beyond Boundaries Presents 'Knock Down the House' - March 5

Please join the Equity and Campus Diversity Office for the next film in the Beyond Boundaries: Dare to Be Diverse screening and discussion series, Knock Down the House, on Thursday, March 5, from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the Burchfield Penney Art Center's Tower Auditorium.

This documentary follows the incredible stories of four women who decide to run for office against all odds. At a moment of historic volatility in American politics, these women set themselves on a journey that changed their lives and country forever. A discussion will follow the screening, moderated by Karen King, Erie County commissioner of public advocacy, and featuring Juanita Perez Williams, the first Latina candidate to run for mayor of Syracuse, New York. This event was made possible through a collaboration with the Buffalo State College Communication Department, the Burchfield Penney Art Center, and the UB Gender Institute
