This practical, hands-on workshop is designed to provide the facts needed to succeed and enjoy writing for publication. Presenter Ken Henson, a Fulbright scholar and a National Science Foundation scholar, has written or coauthored more than 300 national publications. His 50-plus books include five on writing for publication and two Phi Delta Kappa monographs on this topic. Learn to select good topics and appropriate journals and to design titles to hook editors and readers. Benefit from two decades of research on editors' likes and dislikes and their most common reasons for rejecting manuscripts. Explore strategies to increase your acceptance rate.
