The Career Development Center will host a one-time exclusive etiquette seminar for seniors, "Manners Matter: A Crash Course in Dining Skills Essential for Job Searching," on Thursday, April 25, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. This seminar will teach students how to navigate tricky food and beverages while maintaining a professional image. Food will be served, and the event is free!
"LinkedIn: Getting Noticed by Employers" will also run on April 25 from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Eighty-nine percent of recruiters have hired candidates through LinkedIn, the world's largest professional networking site. Learn to create your LinkedIn profile, and learn tips to get noticed by employers and connect with professionals in your field. Seniors can contact the Career Development Center to register for these programs.
