NIH Director Visits Campus

Join NASO in welcoming Dr. Clifton Poodry, Director of Minority Research Opportunities at NIH, to campus on Tuesday, April 6 as part of the 20th Annual Native American Heritage Celebration month. Dr Poodry will meet with students and faculty in TR 102 from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., in 369 SCI from 3:00-4:30 p.m., and will deliver a presentation on "Creativity in Life's Endeavors" from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Bulger S. Dr. Poodry is Tonawanda Seneca and emeritus professor of Biology at UC Santa Cruz. All events are free and open to faculty, staff, and students. Refreshments will be served at all events. Dr. Poodry's visit is co-sponsored by the Biology Club, the NSS Dean's Office, C-STEP Program, and the Aquatic and Watershed Ecology URM Program.
