Buffalo State is an institutional member of the Center for Intellectual Property (CIP), a member-based community dedicated to providing copyright education, research, and resources to higher education institutions. Included in the membership is access to online training, publications, and webinars. Many of the training opportunities are free, including the Community Conversations, a series of live webinars with leading copyright scholars.
To get the most out of Buffalo State’s institutional membership in the CIP and its copyright literacy initiatives, it is important that you create an individual account. Take advantage of the monthly Community Conversations and online tutorials on topics such as plagiarism and academic integrity or the online News & Notes Newsletter.
The next Community Conversation is an orientation for new members on Wednesday, September 28, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. You can access this online webinar from your office computer after you have registered with the CIP community. Upcoming conversations include Copyright and Online Course Content on Wednesday, November 2, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Contact Melaine Kenyon for the institution verification password.
