In conjunction with the Year of the Arts at Buffalo State, all visual arts students and faculty, and others interested in the visual arts, are invited to attend the Business and Art Seminar on Friday, September 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Burchfield Penney Art Center auditorium.

The Business and Art Seminar was inspired by the need to provide visual arts students with some knowledge of the world of business. Sue McCartney, director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), and Tony Maggiotto, business adviser and e-commerce specialist with the SBDC, will present information on entrepreneurship, business planning, and reaching the world market through e-commerce with an eye toward the producing artist.
