Caribbean History and Culture Lecture Series

Melanie J. Newton, associate professor of history and director of Caribbean studies at the University of Toronto, will present "No Original Right in the Soil of the Country: Indigeneity, Law, and Sovereignty in the Early Modern Americas" on Thursday, April 11, from 12:15 to 1:20 p.m. in Classroom Building B119.
