The Daily Bulletin Archive

This workshop will familiarize researchers with the possibilities available for using large scale, nationally representative databases available through the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and other agencies for the purpose of furthering their own research agendas and as sources for external funding. Large-scale databases provide a wealth of information on a wide range of topics that may be otherwise difficult for researchers to gather. Also, they typically study multiple groups of individuals across a number of years allowing researchers to conduct both cross-sectional and longitudinal investigations.
