Meghan Pereira, director of instructional design and training for Information Technology Services, has received the SUNY FACT² Award for Excellence in Instructional Support. This award recognizes full- or part-time instructional support staff members who employ innovative uses of educational technologies to meaningfully improve teaching and learning, either individually or in collaboration with teaching faculty, in the strategic application of the curriculum within SUNY. Ms. Pereira was chosen for having demonstrated excellence through her instructional support practices, and her ability to recognize pedagogical opportunities and devise strategies for infusing the curriculum with innovative uses of technology that align with learning outcomes. She will accept the award at the SUNY Conference on Instruction and Technology (CIT) in May.
